Women's Ministry

Time set aside for women to encourage and be encouraged.

There are many aspects to Women's Ministry at Stoke Poges Church. This starts in our children's and youth groups, offering strong role models and teaching to our girls, alongside the boys.

We offer a supportive listening ear at Baby Steps for young mums and childminders (and some grannies and grandads) where some long-lasting friendships are forged. Baby Steps meets on Tuesdays at St Andrew's in term time from 10-10.30am but is quite full due to the need to maintain social distancing, so please contact the church office to check if there is space.

Our Ladies' Life Group meets at each other's homes once a week, ready to "do life" together, pray, study the bible and eat cake! Several of us attend the Hillsong Colour Conference at Wembley Arena each year.

IMG-20190802-WA0003Although not exclusively ladies, the Knit, Sew and Natter group provides a creative and productive source of support to anyone who wants to join in - with experience or without. This group supports several village events and charities through their collective needle power!

In conjunction with several other local churches of different denominations, Ladies' Breakfast events are held throughout the year at a local venue. A great chance to spend time in each others company and hear inspiring stories from speakers talking about their faith and life journeys.

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water…
Jeremiah 17: 7 –8a (NLT)
